Portuguese fashion designers Fátima Lopes, Luís Buchinho and Felipe Oliveira Baptista are to present their new spring 2013 collections in Paris Tuesday and Wednesday.

The off-the-peg fashion week opens in Paris Tuesday and Lopes will present a collection called “Luxuriant Paradise” and according to Portugal fashion, which supports the presence of the Portuguese designers in the French capital, is “structured, architectural and a bit futuristic”.

Buchinho’s collection was inspired by “the elements of the modern language of architecture”.

Baptista’s collection is still “secret”.

Lopes and Baptista will later present their collections as part of Portugal fashion in Porto, while Buchinho is expected to show his at ModaLisboa on 11 to 14 October in Lisbon.
