Bolo-Rei: The King of Portuguese Christmas cakes


Of French origin, brought to Portugal during the 19th century, bolo-rei is the main Christmas cake eaten in Portugal during the holiday season. PDV had a look behind the scenes of the Lisbon patisserie where the original recipe is still kept under lock and key.
